Reconciliation Preparation

Older Children & Adults

Older children and adults prepare for First Reconciliation through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). These candidates receive their First Reconciliation just prior to the Easter Vigil Mass.

Children

Children in St. Luke School or the Religious Education Program receive the sacrament of First Reconciliation in the second grade. It requires one year of prior religious education, and detailed preparation in second grade. This sacrament is normally celebrated during the first two Saturdays in December.
