Adult Learning

Becoming a Catholic

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process designed for adults who:

  • Are interested in becoming a Catholic from another faith tradition
  • Have been baptized in the Catholic faith but have not received any other Sacraments
  • Have not been baptized in any particular faith tradition and are interested in becoming a Catholic

The RCIA process allows you to journey through the full liturgical year, culminating in reception of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil.

Returning to the Catholic Faith

If you are a baptized Catholic looking for a way back to Catholicism and are seeking guidance or want to receive the other sacraments of initiation, we are here to help you.

Virtus Training to Protect Our Children

Our Religious Education and School classes depend on volunteers to teach and lead our children on their faith journey. The Archdiocese requires that volunteers complete the Virtus Training Program in order to be in compliance with the Archdiocesan mission to protect children and young people. To register for this program, contact our Religious Education Coordinator at or 708-435-8960.

Bible Study

Meet to read, learn and discuss Scripture through programs held throughout the year.  Length of each program varies based on topic.
