Adult Faith
Formation
Becoming a Catholic
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process designed for adults who:
- Are interested in joining the Catholic Church from another faith tradition
- Have been baptized in the Catholic faith but have not received any other sacraments
- Have been baptized in the Catholic faith but have been inactive and want to renew the practice of their faith
The RCIA process allows you to journey through the full exploration of what it means to be Catholic and the richness of the Church history, teachings, and practices. It normally culminates in reception of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil.
Returning to the Catholic Faith
If you are a baptized Catholic looking for a way back to Catholicism and are seeking guidanceor want to receive the other sacraments of initiation, we are here to help you. Contact the Parish Office at 708-771-8250 or click the button below to email the office and get started.

Virtus Training to Protect Our Children
Our Religious Education and School classes and extracurricular activities depend on volunteers to teach and lead our children on their faith journey. The Archdiocese requires that volunteers complete the Virtus Training Program in order to be in compliance with the Archdiocesan mission to protect children and young people. To register for this program, contact our Administrative Assistant at kosga@stlstbparish.org or 708-435-8961.
