Priest’s Health and Retirement Second Collection This Weekend

430 active and 257 retired priests in the Archdiocese of Chicago have dedicated their lives to ministry, serving our needs as Catholics from the moment we are baptized until we receive last rites before entering eternal life.

Help them through the second collection during Masses this weekend, June 10-11, for the Priests’ Health and Retirement Fund, which will provide for the health and well-being of these priests by providing funds for health insurance, medication, nursing care and more. Thank you for your generosity!

Celebrate Fr. Ed’s 45th Ordination Anniversary and Retirement on Sunday, June 25

Join us for the celebration of Fr. Ed’s 45th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood and his retirement on Sunday, June 25, beginning with the 11 am Mass at St. Luke Church. Following the Mass, there will be a reception in the St. Luke School Gym. All are invited to attend to celebrate Fr. Ed and his dedication to our parish and the priesthood, and wish him the best in retirement.

However, Fr. Ed isn’t quite ready to leave completely! While he is retiring from being a full-time priest, he will still graciously celebrate Masses at our parish on the weekends. Thank you, Fr. Ed for your many years of hard work, dedication and service to our parish and the priesthood!

Our Parish has Transitioned to a New Giving Platform!

In an effort to make your consistent giving easier, faster and more secure, our parish has transitioned to a new online giving platform called Pushpay. You can start TODAY to use our new platform by clicking here. It is a simple process that will only take a few minutes to complete.

You can also set up a recurring and automatic gift by visiting the link above. Again, the process is fairly simple.

We have phased out our old online platform, GiveCentral. If you are still using GiveCentral for your recurring gifts, please transfer over your gifts to Pushpay by logging into your GiveCentral account, go to your “my account” page and delete your gifts. If you would like for us to cancel your recurring gift on GiveCentral, or if you have any questions, please contact Sheila Price at sprice@stlstbparish.org or at 708-435-8927.
