We Welcome You

Welcome to St. Luke and St. Bernardine Parish!  Come worship with us and get to know us. Discover opportunities for prayer, fellowship and service to others. Whether you are single, a couple or a family with children … a newcomer or have lived nearby for years … young, old or in between … we invite you to come back, explore, and grow in our Catholic faith.

Learn about us through this website. Join us in worship at either of our two beautiful churches. See how St. Luke and St. Bernardine Parish can be your spiritual home.

We especially encourage families with children to learn about our excellent faith formation programs and our National Blue Ribbon St. Luke School.

Join us for Mass Saturday evenings or Sundays. Participate in our wonderful liturgies enriched by remarkable music. Experience the fellowship of our diverse parish as we celebrate our faith together.

We invite you to be part of our inclusive Catholic community, and pray that you may always know the blessings of our loving God!

Help Us Support the Parish Fundraiser

We’re reaching out to invite you to join us in a
fantastic fundraising opportunity for our parish.
Members of our parish have participated in this
program in the past and raised over $60,000!
To make this initiative a success, we need dedicated
volunteers like you to help with concession stand
sales.
Here’s how you can get involved:
 All volunteers must be 18 years-old or older,
 Review the calendar of events at each
campus and sign up for the dates that work best
for you. Be sure to include your t-shirt size and best
number to reach you. Please use the following
ways to sign up: https://bit.ly/3xwKDs8 .
Here are some important details to note:
Dress Code: All volunteers are required to wear black
pants and black shoes. A t-shirt will be provided for
you to wear during the event. The t-shirt must be
returned to Kathy Jankun at the end of the
event. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress
appropriately for the weather (it can be cold, hot,
rainy all in the same day).
Time Commitment: Plan for a six to eight-hour
commitment at the venue. We have to be there two
hours before the gates open.
Carpooling: When you call her to register at
773-882-1605, Kathy Jankun will provide you with the
details of when to arrive for carpooling or when to
arrive at Northerly Island Volunteer Check-in . On the
day of volunteering, please meet Kathy Jankun at
her home to carpool to the venue.
Parking: It is recommended that you carpool with
other volunteers. The parish reimburses parking
provided by carpool, otherwise parking is available
at individual’s own expense. Parking expense can
range from $10 (Solider Field Remote Parking) to $40
(Huntington Bank Pavilion Parking).
Check-in: All volunteers must check-in at the
volunteer check-in station. Your name will be
included on the volunteer list and your bag will be
checked at the volunteer check-in. Be sure to only
bring a small bag, a water bottle and snacks.
Food: The venue provides a food option for all
volunteers but you might want to bring a snack.
